Working with a network of producers and artists, Cellular Records delivers hip-hop, rap and dance music from the underground music scenes of New York, San Francisco, Oakland, New Orleans and Washington to the discriminant music buyer.

Ashley Allen – CEO

Ashley has worked 16+ years in the software industry, specializing in distributed technology for the dissemination of news, information and market data to global financial institutions.

He is now acting on his life long passion for music, by starting a new independent label, Cellular Records. At Cellular, Ashley is both an artist, and an executive.

As a producer and CEO, Ashley is committed to utilizing the latest digital recording, distribution and manufacturing technologies, to deliver dance, rap and hip hop and other genres emerging from underground scenes throughout the world, to the broader music buying public.

LeGerald Normand – Artist Development

LeGerald Normand's musical prowess is admired by many. He brings 14 years of experience in the underground music scene as a singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. LeGerald is currently performing with the soul group Ledisi, which over the past 5+ years has gained a large following across America, Europe and Asia. LeGerald will be touring with Ledisi throughout Europe spring of 2003.

LeGerald currently also has some independent en devours including dance singles charting in the top 10 in the UK.

At Cellular Records LeGerald will add his unique musical sound to our growing catalog, in addition to grooming new talent.

Deanna Allen-Roquemore – Southern Region Representative

A professor in the Department of Computer Science at Southern University, Baton Rouge Louisiana, Deanna Allen-Roquemore serves as a representative to colleges within the southern region of the Unites States.

Backed by 20 years of teaching experience, Deanna will assist in recruiting new talent and developing a college network of production studios designed to provide practical experience to students in the area of digital recording and distribution technology.

Cellular Records employs a distributed production model that utilizes the latest hardware and internet-related distribution technologies to produce, manufacture, and deliver media from a cluster of virtual studios to the marketplace. With a growing network of studios and producers, Cellular Records is dedicated to delivering a world of sound to a global marketplace.
